Learn a new Ukulele chord every day of the year. The chord for March 26th is F9#5.
Using the F7 from March 3rd we'll start to explore common alteration to this dominant chord. A key is to memorize what note changed - not an entirely new chord shape.
An alternate chord notation for 9#5, nine sharp five is: +9, 9+5. The + and aug refer the an augmented fifth. This is a raised fifth of the chord. The fifth of F is C so an aigmented or raised C is C#.
